Key Point: SubTool is designed with privacy as a fundamental principle. All your
subscription data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third
parties.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
SubTool is built with a privacy-first approach. We explicitly do NOT collect, store, or transmit any of the
following information:
- Personal Information: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personally
identifiable information
- Financial Data: Credit card numbers, bank account information, or payment details
- Subscription Details: Your subscription names, costs, billing cycles, or related
information
- Usage Analytics: App usage patterns, feature interactions, or behavioral data
- Location Data: Your geographic location or movement patterns
- Device Information: Device identifiers, operating system details, or hardware
specifications
- Network Information: IP addresses, network configurations, or connectivity data
3. Local Data Storage
All data you enter into SubTool is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. This
includes:
- Subscription information (names, costs, billing cycles, categories)
- Custom categories you create
- App preferences and settings
- Notification preferences
3.1 Data Security
Your data is protected by iOS's built-in security features, including:
- App Sandbox protection
- Device encryption (when enabled)
- Secure local storage using Core Data
- No network transmission of personal data
4. Third-Party Services
SubTool does not integrate with any third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or data collection
platforms. We do not use:
- Google Analytics or similar tracking services
- Facebook SDK or social media integrations
- Advertising networks or SDKs
- Crash reporting services that collect personal data
- Cloud storage services for your personal data
5. App Store and iOS Integration
SubTool uses only standard iOS frameworks and Apple services:
- Core Data: For local data storage
- UserNotifications: For local notifications (with your permission)
- SwiftUI/UIKit: For user interface
- Foundation: For basic app functionality
These Apple frameworks operate according to Apple's privacy policies and do not transmit your personal data
to our servers.
6. Permissions
SubTool may request the following permissions:
6.1 Notifications
We may request permission to send local notifications to remind you about upcoming subscription renewals.
These notifications are generated locally on your device and do not involve any external servers.
6.2 No Other Permissions
SubTool does not request access to:
- Camera or photos
- Contacts or calendar
- Location services
- Microphone
- Network access for data transmission
7. Data Backup and iCloud
If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, your SubTool data may be included in your device backup.
This is controlled entirely by your iOS settings and Apple's iCloud Privacy Policy. We do not have access to
your iCloud data.
To exclude SubTool from iCloud backup:
- Go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage > Backups
- Select your device
- Turn off SubTool in the backup options
8. Children's Privacy
SubTool is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information
from children under 13. Since we don't collect any personal information at all, this policy inherently
protects children's privacy.
9. Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over your data:
- Delete Individual Items: Remove specific subscriptions within the app
- Reset All Data: Use the app's reset function to clear all data
- Uninstall App: Deleting the app removes all associated data from your device
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Posting the new Privacy Policy in the app
- Updating this webpage
- Including a notice in app updates
Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.

Since SubTool operates entirely locally on your device:
- Right to Access: You have full access to all your data within the app
- Right to Modify: You can edit or update any information at any time
- Right to Delete: You can delete any or all data at any time
- Right to Export: While we don't provide export features currently, all data remains on
your device
